Untangle the patterns that keep you stuck in life and love.
You’re juggling a lot…career, relationships, family, responsibilities, and from the outside, it probably looks like you’ve got it all together. But inside, it’s a different story. You might be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself or the people you care about. Maybe your relationships are strained, or you’re starting to wonder if you’re the problem. Whether you’re here for individual therapy or couples work, the common thread is this:
You might be successful on paper but feel like a fraud inside, constantly striving, yet never quite satisfied. You’re exhausted from trying to meet everyone’s expectations (including your own), and you’re starting to wonder: Is this it? Is this just how life is supposed to feel?
You might be stuck in your head all the time, replaying conversations, second-guessing decisions, or silently beating yourself up for not being “better” or “more together.” You want to feel more connected, to yourself, to your people, to something that feels meaningful. But something is keeping you stuck in the same cycle.
Maybe you’re stuck in the same argument loop over and over again. Maybe one of you feels alone in the relationship while the other feels like they can’t do anything right. You want to feel close again, to communicate without shutting down, blowing up, or walking on eggshells. You want to understand each other, not just co-exist under the same roof.
Couples therapy doesn’t have to be all doom and gloom. I help partners untangle the patterns that keep them stuck, and build the kind of relationship where you both feel safe, seen, and supported, even when things are hard.
I help people just like you, through individual and couples therapy, have more satisfaction in their life and relationships. You have it within you to set better boundaries, communicate more effectively, and feel capable of moving toward what you really want in life. You just need the support to get there.
I help my clients learn to hold onto themselves and what they value so they can find joy and closeness in their relationships and move past self-doubt that keeps them from reaching for the life they want. You will learn to get out of self-defeating relationships patterns that keep you stuck in the same cycle. You’ll learn to disrupt what you’ve been doing that’s not working to find new ways of moving toward the life and love that brings you more fulfillment and security.
Many of today’s solutions for couples therapy offer only scripts to change your communication style. I will help you to understand your love and relationship patterns that not only impact all of your relationships but also your own self-perception and confidence. I use evidence-based approaches (like ACT and attachment theory) to help you build a better relationship with yourself, and with others. Therapy with me is collaborative, sometimes deep and reflective, sometimes practical and focused, sometimes even a little funny (because humor helps, too).
My goal isn’t to “fix” you, because you’re not broken. It’s to help you make sense of what’s going on underneath the surface and create space and opportunities for real change.
…you’re in the right place.
Outside of my work as a therapist, I’m married, and a mom to two boys. Which means my life, like many of my clients,’ is full and busy. Our family includes two dogs, a lot of movement, and a fair amount of noise and laughter.
We love being outdoors, especially in the warmer months. Camping, floating the river, paddle boarding, and exploring new places help us reset and reconnect. Those experiences keep me grounded and feeling balanced.
I believe in showing up for responsibilities, seeking challenges and growth, while still making space for rest, curiosity, and enjoyment. I believe therapy works best when it’s rooted in real life, not perfection, and I bring that perspective with me into the therapy room.
